Terms of Service

Last updated October 4, 2026

These terms cover the Swap Currency Converter app for iPhone and iPad (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The App

Swap converts amounts between currencies, lets you save favorite pairs, and can show a pair on a Home Screen widget. It requires iOS 18.2 or later.

You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the App. You may not copy it for others, reverse engineer it, or use it in a way that breaks the App or the law.

Exchange rates

Rates come from ExchangeRate-API and are cached for about 30 minutes. They are informational. They can be delayed, rounded, or unavailable. Check the rate with your bank, card issuer, or exchange before you send or exchange money. Swap is not a bank and does not move money.

The free app and ads

The free version may show advertisements. Where required, the App asks for your ad-privacy choice before requesting ads. You can change that choice in Privacy Settings in the App.

Currency Pro

Currency Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription sold by Apple through the App Store. It removes ads. Apple charges your Apple ID. The price, billing period, and any free trial are shown in the App Store before you confirm the purchase.

You can manage or cancel the subscription in Settings on your device, under your Apple ID subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel the subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies.

As is

The App is provided as is and as available. It may be interrupted, and a rate or conversion may be wrong. To the extent the law allows, Swap is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the App or relying on a rate it shows. Some places do not allow these limits, and in those places the limits apply only as far as the law permits.

Changes

These terms can change. The date above is the date of the current version. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated terms.
